Fashion that’s worth waiting on.

About the founder.

Atiya as an idea started long ago, when I was still playing with dolls and discovering that less is definitely more. After finishing a degree in Environmental Science, I combined my love of fashion and textiles with my knowledge of sustainability.

Our ethos.

There's no denying sustainability has been the word on everyone's lips in the past few years, but what does that really mean?

Detox your closet.

Many of us have that pile of clothes we haven't worn in years, not sure if we ever will wear it again or what to do with it.

That’s where we come in.

About the founder.

It all begins with an idea: making staple pieces that can be worn all through the day with no age limit in the most environmentally friendly way.

At Atiya we want to go back to the times where clothing was bought to last, was treasured and appreciated. Timeless pieces that are not only beautiful but also practical, so no matter if you're baking the classic lockdown banana bread or working from home, you're doing it comfortably and looking good.

In the hopes of being a part of the sustainable movement in fashion, Atiya was born.

Fashion is said to be the second largest pollution industry in the world. This is why here at Atiya HQ we’re working on a made-to-order basis. We only want to produce pieces that have already found a forever home. Because of this your order might take slightly longer than the usual retailer but you know it’s not costing the earth. We aim to get this out to you as fast as possible and our delivery times are between 5-7 days.

Our ethos.

Sustainable fashion takes into account the entire chain of development, from fabric sourcing to where the finished garments end up at the end of their life. A complex process which doesn't have a simple definition.

Our Fabrics

Following our sustainable ethos, we have searched high and low for the best quality dead stock fabrics; giving these materials a new life and saving them from inevitably going to landfills. As good quality dead stock is limited, we ensure all our other fabrics are eco-sustainable.

Our Factory:

We are proud to design and manufacture our collections in London, with a factory who is leading the sustainable fashion movement in the UK and embraces the same approach as our brand. What makes our factory sustainable?

  • Paying the workers a higher wage than industry standard

  • Zero waste approach

  • Smeta certified

  • Only using biodegradable/recycling packaging

  • Using a carbon saving delivery service

  • They use local suppliers as much as possible

  • Energy saving servo motors on all equipment

  • Energy saving LED low energy lighting

Our Approach:

Complete sustainability is a long road, however we are proudly transparent in our journey towards this. We package all of our pieces carefully, in acid free tissue which then goes into a 100% recycled and recyclable bag.

Detox your closet.

We've partnered with our factory to supply a recycling service for all of those pieces you haven't worn in years that are cluttering your wardrobe.

How it works:
We are accepting old loungewear from any brand which you would either throw away or bury deep down in your wardrobe. When sending us your pieces, make sure all items are clean and any zippers/snaps have been removed and recycled appropriately. Your old pieces will be recycled along with our scrap fabrics and turned into carpet underlay and insulation. We can only accept loungewear at the moment as we have a small London based factory and we have to limit capacity at the moment.
